Title:
POLYIMIDE BELT HAVING JOINT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3197252
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion destruction by selecting adhesive provided between fitting elements in both ends of a belt material from the group consisting of a polyurethane composition containing polyester polyurethane polymer, a phenol formaldehyde containing composition and specified poly composition, which are expressed by specified formulas.
SOLUTION: A gap between fitting elements forming the joint of a belt 10 is filled with adhesive 17. The adhesive 17 is selected from the group consisting of a composition containing a trimer of polyvinyl butyral, polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinyl acetate and plasticizer composition, a polyurethane composition, and a mixed composition containing the copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene and phenol formaldehyde expressed by a formula II. The polyurethane composition contains polyester polyurethane polymer expressed by a formula I, and in the formula, R indicates saturated aliphatic polyester, and R'' indicates aliphatic and aromatic amounting to 2 to 13 in the number of carbons. R'' in the formula II indicates alkyl and hydroxyl groups. Thus, adhesion destruction is prevented.
