PURPOSE: To provide a photosensitive drum by using a polyimide composite film as the material for a novel electrophotographic recording photosensitive drum in which an optical scanner is arranged.
CONSTITUTION: This polyimide composite film consists essentially of at least three layers, i.e., a polyimide layer, a transparent conductive layer and a photosensitive layer, and is indispensable for a photosensitive drum. A polyimide layer capable of transmitting ≥85% of the light of 660nm wavelength or the layer contg. a polyimide from a diphenyl ether or 2,2'-diphenylhexafluoropropane tetracarboxylic acid component and a diamine component such as 2,2'-bis(trifluoromethyl)-4-4'-diamine or 3,3'-diaminediphenyl sulfone is preferably used as the polyimide layer. Sufficient strength and shape are obtained in this way.
