Abstract:

To provide a polymer illuminant capable of giving a highly efficient light-emitting element.

The polymer illuminant bears a terminal group selected from among the groups represented by formulae (1a), (1b) and (1c) at the end of the molecular chain. In the formulae, R1-R15are each independently a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkyloxy group, an alkylthio group, an aryl group or the like; and Q is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom an alkyl group, an alkyloxy group, an alkylthio group, an aryl group or the like and the plural Q's may be the same or different.
