Abstract:
To provide a hydrocarbon-based polymer electrolyte composite membrane which has high proton conductivity and gas barrier properties and which is improved in tensile strength at break.SOLUTION: A polymer electrolyte composite membrane disclosed in the present application includes a polymer electrolyte and a porous membrane. The polymer electrolyte is a hydrocarbon-based electrolyte including a hydrophilic segment and a hydrophobic segment. The hydrophilic segment has a sulfonic acid group and has a main chain mainly consisting of an aromatic ring, and the hydrophobic segment has substantially no sulfonic acid group and has a main chain mainly consisting of an aromatic ring. The porous membrane is a polyolefin-based porous membrane.SELECTED DRAWING: None
