Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer type fuel battery in which it can be switched every cell block constituting a cell stack whether a power generating operation is executed or not, so that the degree of progress of time degradation caused by the power generating operation can be changed every block.SOLUTION: Generated power of a fuel battery cell unit CS is supplied to a power load portion through a power output circuit unit, and the fuel battery cell unit CS is configured to be capable of performing supply and stop of oxidant gas to a fuel electrode 11 and supply and stop of oxidant gas to an air electrode 12 for each of plural cell blocks CB, and switch the electrical connection state to a power output circuit unit for each of the plural cell blocks CB. Operation control means determines a cell block CB to be operated for power generation out of the plural cell blocks CB according to information on the magnitude of load power of the power load portion and an operation priority allocated to each of the plural cell blocks CB.
