Title:
POLYMER HAVING ANTIOXIDANT CARBON IN CHEMICAL STRUCTURE, ITS PRODUCTION AND COMBINATION OF REACTIVE SOLUTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3862808
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metathesis polymer inhibited from oxidative discoloration and deterioration by dissolving a metathesis-polymerizable cycloolefin in a solvent inert in the metathesis polymerization and polymerizing the cycloolefin in the presence of a metathesis polymerization catalyst system.
SOLUTION: A metathesis-polymerizable cycloolefin having alkyls in positions 1 and/or 4 of a bicyclo[2.2.1]heptene skeleton and/or a 7- oxybicyclo[2.2.1]heptene skeleton is homopolymerized or copolymerized with another metathesis-polymerizable cycloolefin to obtain a metathesis polymer containing in the chemical structure a structure of formula I (R1 to R4 are each H or a 1-8C alkyl; X1 X2, Y1 and Y2 are each H, a 1-20C alkyl, an alkylidene, an aryl, an ester or cyano; either of R1 and R2 is a 1-8C alkyl; and X1 and Y1 or X2 and Y2 may be combined with each other to form a cycloalkyl, a cycloolefin or an acid anhydride) or formula II (R1, R2, X1, X2, Y1 and Y2 are as defined in formula I).
