Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform filtration at the start of filtration and at the stoppage of filtration in a filter aid filtration apparatus without reducing processing capacity.SOLUTION: A dope 21 is prepared by dissolving a raw material cellulose acylate (raw material CA) 17 into methylene chloride 18 in a dissolution tank 6. The dope 21 is filtered by a filter 12 of a filter aid filtration system. At the start of filtration, a solvent is added to the dope 21 at the upstream side of the filter 12 by a solvent addition unit 13 to decrease the viscosity of the dope 21. The flow rate of the dope 21 is increased corresponding to the amount of decrease in the viscosity to improve the throughput. The dope 21 is heated by a temperature controller 23b. The amount of the solvent corresponding to the amount of decrease in the viscosity of the dope 21 by heating is determined and the solvent addition amount is reduced by only the amount by the solvent addition unit 13. When the filtration is started or stopped, the incorporation of a filter aid into the dope 21 due to the peeling of the filter aid is avoided.
