Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable compound high in refractive index, high in solubility to a polymerizable compound having an aromatic ring and high in visible light transmittance of a cured article, a curable composition capable of providing the cured article high in refractive index and high in visible light transmittance, and a cured article high in refractive index and high in visible light transmittance.SOLUTION: There are provided a polymerizable compound (A) represented by {X-S(=O)-Y}{-Q-R}, wherein X is a condensed ring (FR) having a benzene ring, which may have a substituent, Y is an aromatic ring which may have a substituent, X and Y have n bonds binding Q as total, Q is a bivalent connecting group, R is a group having an ethylenic double bond, m is an integer of 0 to 2, n is an integer of 1 to 4, a curable composition containing the polymerizable compound (A) and a cured article by curing the curable composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
