Abstract:
To provide a polymerizable liquid crystal composition that is used for forming an optically anisotropic film excelling in all of reverse wavelength dispersibility, hygrothermal durability and amine resistance, and provide a compound, an optically anisotropic film, an optical film, a polarizing plate and an image display device.SOLUTION: A polymerizable liquid crystal composition contains a polymerizable liquid crystal compound, and a compound represented by the formula (I-1). An optically anisotropic layer made using the polymerizable liquid crystal compound satisfies the following formula (A): 1.00≤Re(450)/Re(550)≤1.10 (A), where Re(450) denotes an in-plane retardation of the optically anisotropic layer at a wavelength 450 nm, Re(550) denotes an in-plane retardation of the optically anisotropic layer at a wavelength 550 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
