Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R1, R2 and R3 are 1-4C monofunctional hydrocarbon group, alkoxy or trialkylsiloxy having alkyl).
EXAMPLE: Vinyloxycarbonyldecyltrimethoxysilane.
USE: Useful for modifying general-purpose resins or oxygen-enriched membranes.
PREPARATION: For example, a vinyl ester compound (e.g., vinyl 10-undecylenate) expressed by formula II and a silane compound expressed by the formula HSiR1R2R3 (e.g., triethylsilane] to are subjected to hydrosilylation reaction to in the presence of a catalyst, such as chloroplatinic acid, in an organic sol vent, such as THF, at 30-150°C (preferably 70-120°C) to afford the objective compound.
