Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a product having excellent formability and handleability and effective in reducing the viscosity of a polymer polyol having high polymer concentration (concentrated POP) and developed for improving the hardness of urethane foam. CONSTITUTION:A polyether polyol having small number of functional groups and low viscosity compared with conventional polyether polyol is used in combination with a conventional polyether polyol as a starting substance for a polymer polyol. A polymer polyol having decreased viscosity can be produced by this process. A urethane foam can be produced without causing the deterioration of physical properties by using a restricted amount of the polyether polyol having low viscosity as a raw material.
