Title:
POLYOLEFIN-BASED SPLITTABLE CONJUGATE FIBER AND FIBER FORM USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3309181
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an easily splittable polyolefin-based splittable conjugate fiber by adding no additive for improving splittability and to obtain a fine fiber form having good formation by using the same.
SOLUTION: This fiber is (1) a polyolefin-based splittable conjugate fiber consisting of two components of polyolefin-based resin, having cross-section radially alternate arrays of each component, a cavity in the center of the fiber, 5-40% void ratio of the cavity and 0.25-2.5 W/L ratio wherein W is the average fiber-periphery arc length of one resin component and L is the average thickness from the cavity to the surface and the fiber form is (2) a fiber form including ≥30% polyolefin-based splittable conjugate fiber wherein ≥50% splittable conjugate fiber is splitted.
