The polyolefin microporous film is a microporous film comprising a polyolefin resin and inorganic particles, wherein the polyolefin resin includes high-density polyethylene, and the inorganic particle consists essentially of an inorganic substance expressed by chemical formula Al2O3.nH2O (where n>0).
