PURPOSE: To obtain the title inexpensive composition excellent in processability and mechanical properties, by mixing a polyolefin resin with an inorganic filler and a hydroxyphenylstearic acid (salt).
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. polyolefin resin (A) (e.g., high-density PE) is mixed with 20W900pts.wt., preferably, 30W200pts.wt. inorganic filler (B) (e.g., CaCO3) of an average particle diameter of 0.01W100μm, and 0.1W20pts.wt., preferably, 0.2W10pts.wt. hydroxyphenylstearic acid (salt) (C) of the formula [wherein x+y=15, A is hydroxylphenyl, Z is H, alkali (alkaline earth) metal, Fe, Zn, Co, NH4 or an organic ammonium group and n is an integer corresponding to the valence of Z], and an antioxidant, an ultraviolet absorber, a lubricant, a colorant, an antistatic agent, a heat stabilizer, etc., if necessary, are added to the obtained mixture.
