Abstract:
To provide a polypeptide that inhibits activity of EphB4 or EphrinB2 and is useful for treating a cancer or angiogenesis-related disease.
A soluble polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence of an extracellular domain of an EphB4 protein and is isolated. The soluble polypeptide is prepared as a monomer and a fusion protein, and inhibits the signaling that results from interaction between EphB4 and EphrinB2.
