Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polyphenylene sulfide film having good qualities with a high Young's modules and little surface defects, oligomers and uneven thickness by finding a liquid crystalline polymer having improving effects both in fluidity and mechanical characteristics.
SOLUTION: This polyphenylene sulfide film consists of a polyphenylene surfide (A) and a liquid crystalline polymer (B) having 0.1-50 Pa.second melt viscosity. The polyphenylene sulfide film is produced by blending the polyphenylene sulfide (A) with the liquid crystalline polymer (B) having 0.1-50 Pa.second melt viscosity and bringing the mixture to form a film.
