To provide a polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) film when it is used in a capacitor it will have a selfhealing property(SH property) and also to provide a PPS laminated capacitor with a preferable SH property and a high reliablity constructed by using the film.

The polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) film has a ceramic layer formed on at least one side thereof, preferably the one has a ceramic layer of aluminum oxide, silicone oxide, indium oxide, zinc oxide or titanium oxide with a heat resistance or a complex ceramic layer thereof formed on at least one side thereof, and the capacitor is constructed by using the same.
