Abstract:
To provide a polypropylene resin composition which can be melted to have high viscosity and melt tension and is suitable for producing a foam sheet being excellent in secondary processing.
The composition comprises being produced by a multi-step polymerization process, the first step of which produces a propylene polymer followed by the second step producing an ethylene polymer, wherein the propylene polymer is contained by 85-99 wt.% in the composition and has a limiting viscosity [η] of 3.0-12 (dl/g); and the ethylene polymer is contained by 1-15 wt.% in the composition and has a limiting viscosity of 5.0-100 (dl/g). The composition can be melted and kneaded to give an improved composition being better in secondary processing.
