Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane-vinyl polymer composite resin emulsion which is non-self-adhesive at room temperature and can exhibit self-adhesive properties rapidly and reversibly at near a fixed transition temperature. SOLUTION: There is provided a polyurethane-vinyl polymer composite resin emulsion formed by dispersing 100 pts.wt. of a polyurethane and 20-40 pts.wt. of a vinyl polymer in an aqueous medium, wherein the polyurethane is obtained by reacting a urethane prepolymer, which is obtained from a crystalline polyol and a polyisocyanate as essential components, with a mono-functional isocyanate or a compound having an active hydrogen group in the molecule and has a melting point of 30 deg.C or above, and the vinyl polymer is prepared from a radically polymerizable monomer.
