To provide a polyurethane binder which, as compared with the conventional polyurethane binder, has the same workability, applicability, and curing time, the same strength properties of an elastic pavement after application, and is free from yellowing and discoloration with the elapse of time after the application.
At least one material selected from a particulate rubber, a particulate natural stone, a wood chip, and a plastic chip is added to and mixed with a polyurethane binder comprising: a urethane prepolymer comprising an aliph. and/or alicyclic isocyanate and an active hydrogen compd. with the molecular end being an isocyanate group; and, incorporated therein, a curing accelerator comprising at least one compd. selected from an aliph. amine, an aliph. alkanolamine, and a polyoxyalkylene glycol, prepd. by addition-polymerizing propylene oxide or propylene oxide and ethylene oxide to an aliph. amine or an aliph. alkanolamine, the NCO to H ratio being (0.9:1) to (10:1). The mixture is then cured to prepare an elastic pavement.
