Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject fiber, composed of a polyurethane produced by reacting a polymer diol with an organic diisocyanate, a prepolymer type organic polyisocyanate containing a specific piperidine side chain and a chain extender, excellent in discoloration, light and heat resistance, flexibility and elastic recovery properties and useful as swimming wear, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective fiber is composed of a polyurethane produced by reacting a polymer diol such as a polyester polyol with an organic diisocyanate such as 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate and preferably 0.1-20wt.% prepolymer type organic polyisocyanate, e.g. expressed by the formula [R1 to R4 are alkyl; R5 is direct bond or bivalent group; A and B are monovalent group; only either of A and B is active hydrogen reactive with the isocyanate; m is ≥1] and having a group containing piperidine ring in which the 2- and 6-positions are respectively substituted with two alkyl groups in a pendant state in the side chain, ≥1500 average molecular weight and 1.8-3 number of average isocyanate groups and a chain extender.
