To obtain a polyurethane tacky agent, composed of a polyol having a specific partial chemical structure and an organic diisocyanate, excellent in heat resistance and cold resistance especially regarding tacky adhesive properties and useful for various kinds of tacky processed articles such as tacky tapes, labels, etc.
This polyurethane resin is composed of (A) a polyol having a partial chemical structure of the formula [R1 is a 1-10C alkyl, an aryl, an allyl or an aralkyl; R2 is H, a 1-10C alkyl, an aryl, an allkyl or an aralkyl; (m) and (n) are each an integer of 0-6] and (B) an organic diisocyanate. A compound of the component A is obtained by using raw materials consisting of 1,2-propanediol, 1,2-butanediol, etc., as the diol and 3-methyl-1,4-adipic acid, phenylsuccinic acid, etc., as the dicarboxylic acid. The polyol preferably has a number-average molecular weight of 500-5000. A tacky agent more excellent in heat resistance and durability is obtained by using a polyisocyanate curing agent together with the obtained polyurethane resin.
