Abstract:
To provide a PVA film for packaging of a fiber product which is less likely to cause migration of a plasticizer and bleedout of the plasticizer onto the surface of the film, has excellent heat sealability, is less likely to cause blocking, and, when allowed to stand under various conditions, has excellent fastness.
This 10 to 100μm-thick polyvinyl alcohol film for a fiber product comprises a compsn. comprising: 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of saponification of 70 to 100mol% and, incorporated thereinto, 3 to 100 pts.wt. compd. prepd. by an addition reaction of 1 to 4mol of an alkylene oxide with one mol of a trivalent to hexavalent polyhydric alcohol.
