A poorly processed work removing device (poorly processed work selecting device) 10 is equipped with a transport device 11 to transport a web 20 where a plurality of works to be processed 21 are arranged continuously, a poorly processed work sensing device 12 to sense a portion in poor workmanship of the web 20 transported by the transport device 11, a cutting device 13 to cut each work 21 into pitch lengths, a control part 14 to select the work 21 having a portion in poor workmanship in the selecting region A downstream of the cutting device 13 on the basis of the sensing value of the sensing device 12 and calculate the removing timing of the work 21 on the basis of the length (path length L) from the sensing position of the sensing device 12 to the selecting region A and the unit length (pitch P) of the work 21, and a removing device 15 installed in the selecting region A and removing automatically the work 21 on the basis of the sensing result of the control part 14.
