CONSTITUTION: A pop label issuing apparatus 7 comprises an issuing machine control means 8 connected to a network 4 of a POS system 5, a bar code reading means 9 for reading bar code information, and a label issuing machine 10 for printing and issuing a pop label based on pop information of an issue file. The issuing machine control means 8 comprises a searching means for searching in a single item master file essential for the POS system 5 using the bar code information read by the bar code reading means 9 as a key code and an information output means for outputting the acquired information to the issue file, wherein the bar code reading means 9 is utilized together with the single item master file to acquire product information.
