Abstract:
To provide a porous particle having a controlled three-dimensional network-shaped skeleton and a communication hole consisting of cavities of the skeleton, further in which the communication hole penetrates from a surface of the particle to the inside thereof, a production method thereof, and a filler for chromatography with the porous particle.SOLUTION: A porous particle, of which the main component is cellulose acetate or cellulose, is spherical, and has a three-dimensional network-shaped skeleton and a communication hole structure consisting of cavities of the skeleton, further in which the communication hole penetrates from a surface of the particle to the inside thereof. When the porous particles are filled in a column with an inside diameter of 0.78 cm and a length of 30 cm and the flow rate is set to be 0.4 ml/minute, retention time of dextran with molecular weight of 2,000,000 is 20 minutes or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
