Abstract:
To provide a novel porous polymer metal complex having a layered structure of two-dimensional square lattice network structures, and also to provide a gas adsorbent having excellent gas adsorption properties using the same.SOLUTION: The porous polymer metal complex is represented by the following formula (I) [MX]n (I) (where, M is a divalent transition metal ion, X is a ligand derived from an isophthalic derivative having a bulky substituent at 5-position, n represents a property of multiple constituent units composed of [MX] being aggregated, and the size of n is not particularly limited), the transition metal ion having a laminated structure of a two-dimensional square lattice network structure in which a paddle wheel structure is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
