To provide a portable alarm extended in intended use.

Three types of operation pieces, i.e., a type (1) to be driven when it is drawn out, a type (2) to be driven when its one end is depressed and a type (3) to be driven when its one end is pulled up, are prepared as operation pieces for operating this alarm by being inserted thereinto and they are properly used in accordance with the intended use. The operation piece shown by Figure is the type (3), the alarm is fixed on a windowsill 16 for a window sash through a fixture 17, and when the end part of the sash depresses the operation piece of the alarm, the alarm is driven and an alarm tone is generated, so that the alarm can be utilized for burglar prevention of a house. An operation piece of the type (2) to be driven when its one end is pulled up is arranged in parallel with a chain for a door, and when the door is opened, the alarm is driven. An operation piece of the type (1) to be driven when it is drawn out is utilized for the portable alarm similarly to a conventional alarm. Thus three kinds of operation pieces are properly used for the common alarm to extend its use.
