PURPOSE: To realize the portable device in which a fault due to a shock at fall-down is avoided to the utmost without large size and, increase in the weight.
CONSTITUTION: The portable device is configured such that the device is formed longer from a base end 1 to a tip section 2, the ratio of a weight of a half 12 toward the base to a weight of a half 11 toward the tip is selected to be 3 or over while a middle part 9 in the lengthwise direction is taken a border, the total length is preferably 50mm or over, a maximum part of an outer circumference is selected to be 100mm or below, the ratio of the total length to the outer circumference is selected to be 1.5 or over, a soft elastic body 8 is fitted at least to the base 1, and a display section 5 is deviated from the gravity center and arranged to a position biased toward the tip 2.
