Title:
PORTABLE DRILL WITH FREELY DETACHABLE LEVEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3713500
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply machine drilling and tapping with a small electric drill or the like orthogonally to a face to be machined even if the face is kept inclined.
SOLUTION: A level 3 is mounted to a drill body 2 of the portable drill 1 so as to be three-dimensionally tilted and attachable/detachable via a joint means 4 such as a universal joint and a flexible joint so that the drilling and tapping can be executed orthogonally even to the inclined face to be machined. The level 3 is mounted to the joint means 4 such as the universal joint and the flexible joint so as to be three-dimensionally tilted. It is also be attachably/detachably mounted to the drill body 2 via an attaching/detaching means 13 such as a velvet fastener and a magnet body. Also, it is preferable that the centering of the portable drill 1 is executed by inserting an orthogonally centering tool 15 to a drill chuck 14 of the drill body 2, by bringing the orthogonally centering tool 15 into contact with the face to be machined, and by making the level 3 mounted to the drill body 2 in a horizontal state with the joint means such as the universal joint or the flexible joint.
