Title:
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC APPLIANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3188182
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from recognizing the loading of a battery pack to be completed while the pack remains in a half locked state by using the pawl of a hook part which is wider than the groove width of the joint part of the battery pack.
SOLUTION: The battery pack 60 is loaded gradually to an electronic appliance main body 51 by being pushed to an arrow mark A direction. A movable hook approaches to a groove 63 formed between the first part 60a and the second part 60b of the battery pack, but since the width W1 of the groove 63 is narrower than the width W2 of a vertical direction pawl part 1b, this movable hook 1 is never inserted into the groove 63, and the battery pack 60 proceeds in the arrow mark A direction by pushed force, and can engage with an engaging recessed part 21. Namely, since the pawl 1b part is formed in a groove width direction, the pawl is never inserted into the groove 63, and the user is prevented from misunderstanding that the loading of the battery pack is completed because of the shock or the sound of insertion. Since the pawl 1b part is given roundness, it is drawn in before the completion of the loading, and can be surely loaded.
