Abstract:
To realize easy handling of a portable electronic device, in which two frame bodies are jointed in an openable/closable state, and make it possible to set the device body stably on a flat installation face, with the two frame bodies in a state of being opened.
The portable electronic device 1 includes two frame bodies 2, 3; a jointing portion 5 for jointing two frame bodies 2, 3 in an opening/closing enabled state; and a fall-preventing projection 21 projecting to a position near to the jointing portion 5, at an outer face 2e of one frame body 2 exposing in a stacked direction of the two frame bodies 2, 3, regardless of the opened or the closed states of the two frame bodies 2, 3.
