Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information device with a data input supporting function that can precisely determine a store name and also impart a proper item of expenditure even if there is not an entry of an item of expenditure for an article having been purchased when a user photographs a receipt, a slip, etc., that the user has and extracts entered information through optical character recognition.SOLUTION: When a receipt etc., that a user has is read through optical character recognition, a store name is accurately extracted by improving a recognition rate especially for a telephone number entered into the receipt etc., and a proper item of expenditure linked to the store name is imparted so as to lighten the burden of data input on the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
