Abstract:
To provide a portable information terminal and an information scroll method therefor with which a scroll mode and the scroll direction of information can be selected by a jog dial mounted on the portable information terminal.
A paper 1 is composed of a reception part 3 to which an antenna 2 is connected, a demodulation part 4, a CPU 5, a ROM 6 or a RAM 7, a key input part 8, a jog dial 9, a jog dial control part 10, a liquid crystal display panel 11, a display panel driving part 12, an alarm tone output part 13 and a speaker 14. Then, the scroll mode and scroll direction of information to be displayed on the liquid crystal display panel 11 can be easily selected by operating the jog dial 9.
