To provide a grip structure for portable information terminal, more specifically, a portable information terminal including a support bar provided on the back side of the portable information terminal so as to assist grip with fingers, when gripping the portable information terminal.

The portable information terminal comprises a storage part recessed with a predetermined size of opening in the back surface of a casing; and the support bar having a size fitted to the opening size. One end of the support bar is supported by a pair of shaft support parts provided at one of four edge parts of the storage part. The support bar is stored in the storage part by pushing the other end of the support bar thereinto, and opened at a predetermined angle with the other end thereof raised from the stored state so as to assist the grip.
