PURPOSE: To save the labor and time with a portable memory device and furthermore to facilitate writing and reading operations of subsequent data, by securing a loadable/unloadable mechanism for a memory unit consisting of a memory part and a case to and from accessories.
CONSTITUTION: A worm shaft 204 is revolved manually to turn a worm wheel 205 counterclockwise. Thus a shoulder on a cut 206 of the wheel 205 hits the wall of a base member 2 and stops there. Then the revolutions of the shaft 204 are stopped. Then a knob 10 is pulled to the right and a should under the cut 206 and set under a stopper 207 is moved with revolutions of the wheel 205. Then the knob 10 moves right against the force of a spring 11, and a wedge 203 is pulled out of a slit 9. Thus a memory unit 4 is removed from the member 2 owing to the force of a plate spring set on the bottom surface of a cut mouth 7.
