A pressing iron body 1 is constructed by pivoting each of ends 2A and 3A of an upper working arm 2 and a lower working arm 3 by a hinge pin 4. A helix spring 5 wound around near the hinge pin 4 resiliently urges each of working arms 2 and 3 toward opening direction. Heat-generating contacting parts 6A and 6B are arranged on opposite inner sides of the working arms 2 and 3, wherein a steam operating button 7 is attached on an upper side of the upper working arm 2 and a steam emitting port 8 is formed on a lower side of the upper working arm 2. A temperature control button 9 can control temperature of the heat-generating contacting parts 6A and 6B. And when the steam operating button 7 is pushed, water in a tank sprays from the emitting port 8 for ironing.
