Abstract:
To start a server application only when a portable terminal is connected to a particular network from a charging cradle.
A cellphone 1 starts a DLNA server application when recognizing a connection to a home LAN 4 having an identifier of a DHCP server 6 after starting charging on a charging cradle 2. The DLNA server application then processes data to be sent to a large television receiver (TV) 5 connected via the home LAN 4. The DLNA server application is stopped when the charging operation on the charging cradle 2 is discontinued.
