Abstract:
To provide a portable terminal and display control method, which are automatically changed in display setting of a display element so as to enable a user to easily recognize the display of the display element.
A distance measuring section 13 measures the distance up to the user. A CPU 20 controls the brightness displayed on the display element 15 and the spacing between an image for the right eye and an image for the left eye at the time of the three-dimensional display shown in the display element 15 according to the distance measured by the distance measuring section 13.
