Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a protable sport equipment which provides free weight training of the physical condition by making a grip formed to be suitable for the movements of the wrist or the arm, and a spring pack formed so as to add a spring force to prevent a reel from rotating when a string is pulled. CONSTITUTION: When in use, a pair of foot pads 14 are adjusted at the position to fit the stance of user on a bar 16. When more pressure is desired in addition to that given by a built-in spring pack 110, an additional spring pack 142 is piled on the built-in spring pack 110. After the tensile force is adjusted, the user removes two grips 76 from their holders, and carries out optional free weight exercises. Exercises to be practical are; with the grips pulled upward, for example, curling, exercise in press, stretching exercise and ordinary exercises practiced during free weight training of the physical condition. When a string 56 is contracted, the user receives the same spring force as the string is pulled. Accordingly, this equipment provides the user with the same advantage as the effect provided by free weight training given during a weight is both lifted up and brought down.
