PURPOSE: To conform the combination of horizontal levers and stud sections to a desired scaffold board by preparing the horizontal levers for supporting several kinds of long and short scaffold boards and combining the before and behind stud sections and the horizontal levers.

CONSTITUTION: A portal jamb is cut by sections near to both ends of horizontal levers for supporting scaffold boards built between the upper ends of the studs of the jamb, and formed in a shape that it is divided into three points for convenience's sake of a pair of split stud members 1, 2 and a relay horizontal lever member 3 interposed between these split stud members 1, 2. Connecting shaft sections 32a, 32a are projected from both ends of the relay horizontal lever member 3, the connecting shaft sections 32a, 32a are penetrated and fitted to the horizontal lever sections 11, 22 made of pipes of the split stud members 1, 2, and both are bonded and fixed by cotter pins 9. Accordingly, the connecting shaft sections 32a, 32a are inserted and fitted to horizontal lever sections 12, 22 under an assembled state, thus simplifying assembly, then building up the desired jamb.
