Abstract:
To provide a headboard against which a user can make lean his back comfortably.
A headboard has at least a fixed base part 2 and at least a movable upper part 4 which is joined with the fixed base part 2 in the base portion 3a of a bed. The upper part 4 is hinged with the fixed base part 4 by a hinge coupling device 5 (5a to 5d) so that the upper part 4 can move from a position substantially perpendicular to the base part 2 to other positions where the upper part 4 is inclined forwardly or backwardly against the fixed base part 2.
