Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform accurately and stably position control by constituting a compensator which considers characteristics of a machine system in a loop in a closed loop-system numeric control machine tool. CONSTITUTION:Position detector DET1 is fitted to movable table MC to be controlled in a machine tool, and detection position information is fed back negatively to the position control part NC side of a numeric control unit and is applied to adder a through an A/D converter, thereby performing the closed loop-system control. Operation functions of a processor are used to constitute compensator CPS considering characteristics of the machine system in the loop. If the transfer function of compensator CPS is so set to satisfy a prescribed relation expression, the maximum value of the position loop gain where movable table MC is not vibrated can be obtained largely, and position control precision and stability are improved. The difference signal between command information and the negative feedback signal in adder A is applied to speed AMP through CPS, position loop gain setting circuit GC and DA converter, and motor M is so driven that the difference signal may be zero.
