PURPOSE: To control meandering movement of a belt, by displacing the conveyer belt in the one-way direction in a free condition, detecting the displacement through a sensor and resetting the belt continuously only for a certain time.
CONSTITUTION: In a free condition, a meandering correcting roller 2 is tilted by tension of a return spring to drive a belt 1 by the trend of displacement to the leftward direction. The belt 1, if displaced, is detected by a sensor 11, and the roller 2 is tilted in a direction displacing the belt 1 to the rightward direction. This condition is continued till the time is up by a timer, if the time is up, the roller 2 is reset to the former position. This action is repeated to enable the correction of meandering motion of the belt.
