Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection method that detects an absolute distance with high position detection accuracy even with low frequency accuracy, and reduces an influence of a disturbing signal to begin with a multipass.SOLUTION: A transmission signal 9 by a radio wave and a transmission signal 17 by a sound wave are transmitted, a position is calculated by a position computation circuit 37 from timing information 23 receiving the transmission signal 9 and timing information 34 receiving the transmission signal 17, and position detection data 38 is output. The transmission signal 17 is a signal that is modulated by a code generating in a code generation circuit 11, and on a reception side, a correlation inspection is implemented by a correlation detection circuit 30 and correlation detection circuit 31, and the timing information 34 on a reception time is output by a data determination circuit 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
