PURPOSE: To secure a high-accuracy detection for the position of the pickup arm by providing the dynamic motor to the shaft of the pickup motor and then integrating the voltage generated via the integrator which converts the voltage into the charge/discharge current for the capacitor.
CONSTITUTION: Coil 4 provided to horizontal shaft 2 of pickup arm 1 is turned in the magnetic field generated from peramnent magnet 3, and thus mobile coil type motor G is formed. The voltage is generated in proportion to the rotary speed of arm 1 comprising coil 4, and the turning direction is decided by rectifiers 5 and 6. The output current of voltage-current converters 7 and 8 charges and discharges capacitor 9, and the terminal voltage of capacitor 9 is applied to voltmeter 11 via buffer amplifier 10. As the indication of the voltmeter corresponds to the position angle of the pickup arm, the position detection becomes possible in a simple way for the pickup arm featuring the direct driving system.
