Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost.SOLUTION: A position estimation device includes: a current detection part for detecting coil current generated according to a signal, superposed of a control signal which controls driving current for rotating a motor, and a harmonic signal, at different timing for each phase; and a position estimation part for estimating rotor position of the motor based on detected current by the current detection part. The different timing includes first timing which is before a predetermined period from the center of a predetermined carrier period based on the control signal, and second timing which is after the predetermined period from the center of the carrier period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
