Abstract:
To provide a position estimation device capable of enhancing the separability of position estimation of wave sources even if two or more wave sources exist.SOLUTION: A position estimation device 10 includes a first processing part 11 for approximating reception signals xgenerated by receiving signal waves by N receiving elements as a composite wave signal of single wave signals x(k)' generated from K virtual single wave sources, a second processing part 12 for generating a composite signal x' of the N reception elements and M-N non-existing reception elements by generating single wave signals of the M-N non-existing reception elements in accordance with a prescribed phase difference in each of K single wave signals x(k)', and compositing the K single wave signals x(k)' in each of the N reception elements and the M-N non-existing reception elements, and a third processing part 13 for estimating an azimuth angle of a wave source position by using the generated composite signals x'.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
