Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information service system which makes the ID of an originating terminal secret to the outside of an exchange network, provides information for a terminating terminal unlimitedly to a special number and charges the terminal, and prevents position information from being altered and data from illegally being reused.
SOLUTION: The originating terminal periodically updates a ciphering key and a key update center distributes a ciphered position information-position information conversion DB to the terminating terminal when the terminating terminal makes a contract or when the contract is updated. The originating terminal ciphers and sends the position information to the termination side and the terminating terminal retrieves position information from the held DB. Further, the ciphered position information and DB are generated by using the ciphering key having a terminating terminal telephone number embedded.
