PURPOSE: To inform the position of a small sized mobile radio equipment (slave set) to a portable radio terminal equipment (master set) by the intention of the carrier of the master set or the slave set when the movable master set and small sized mobile radio equipment within a building surrounded by wall faces are in use.
CONSTITUTION: When a master carrier carrying a master set 1 losts the position of a slave carrier carrying a slave set 21 and a position request buttoon 1d of the master set 1 is depressed, a request signal commanding the position of the slave set 21 is sent. A position detection means 5 generates a reply request signal including an ID number of the slave set 21 and the signal is sent to all rooms of a building and a reply signal is sent from the slave set 21 whose ID number is in matching with the sent ID number. The position detection means 5 locates the position of the slave set 21 based on the intensity of the received reply signal by a stationary reception means 3 in the vicinity of the slave set 21 and sends a generated position information signal and the master set 1 displays the position of the slave set 21 onto a display means 1c.
